Partner Stephen Mosford
Areas of Interest: Steve qualified from London University in 1979 and joined Park Issa in 1982, after short periods working in Somerset and Lancashire. His family consists of wife, Jane, a qualified Veterinary Nurse, who however now works in infant education, three children, 1 dog, Molly, a very cheeky border terrier, 1 cat, Pepper, who started life as an RSPCA rescue kitten and a pond full of ornamental fish. Steve spends most of his day on the farm side of the practice, but he enjoys playing a full part in treating all species out of hours.

Partner Karen Jones
Areas of Interest: Karen qualified from Edinburgh University in 1984 joining Park Issa later that year. She spends most of her time on the companion animal side of the hospital but still ventures out onto farms out of hours at night and weekends for emergency calls. Her special interest at work is cardiology and she regularly attends cardiology meetings around the country. For her "leisure time" she is secretary of the local swimming club and spends many happy hours at pools all over Wales.

Partner Chris Kirtley
Areas of Interest: Chris qualified from Liverpool University in 1988 joining Park Issa in 1995 after spells in South Shropshire, North Yorkshire and Scotland. He enjoys both working on the farms and in the hospital, there being no truth in rumours that he does this to avoid the wet weather outside. He has seven guinea pigs and a mischievous border collie called Faith AKA the blicker.

Hans Veneklaas Slots
Hans qualified from Utrecht University in Holland in 1999. He worked in Holland and North Wales for a few years (where he met Angharad) before returning to the UK to join Park Issa in 2005. Hans mainly works on the farm animal side of the practice, although he does some small animal consulting as well. In his spare time he enjoys gardening , stamp collecting and spending time with his family. He and his wife are also planning an extension to their house to accommodate their offspring.

Linda Woolley
Linda is a native of Oswestry and attended Oswestry Girls High School before studying veterinary science at Liverpool University. After she qualified in 1983 she worked in various practices in Shropshire, Lancashire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire before returning to Shropshire in 1990. Linda's clinical interests include radiography and surgery, especially orthopaedics. She has a post graduate certificate in radiography. in her spare time Linda enjoys horse riding, skiing, painting and piano playing when not ferrying around her teenage daughters.

Practice Manager Judy Blythe
Qualifications: RVN, A1, Cert Small Animal Nutrition, Cert Nursing Exotics& British Wildlife. Areas of Interest: Judy works part time for the practice both at the Hospital and our branch at Johnstown. She is currently studying a yearlong course in pheramone therapy at Lincoln University. Her interests outside work include bears in China and dog training.

Areas of Interest: Lucy qualified from Edinburgh University in the Summer of 2007. She is already a familiar figure to many of our clients, both on the large and small animal side having "seen practice" with us during her studies. She splits her time between the large and small animal side. In her free time she enjoys rowing and swimming.

Practice Administrator Sue Jones
Areas of Interest: Sue has worked at Park Issa since March 1988. She is the face the farmers see when they come in as she works mainly on the large animal side of the practice and also keeps the practice accounts. She has lived in the Oswestry area most of her life although she now moved over the Border to Wales. Her interests are walking her 2 dogs, line-dancing and pub meals.

Kerry Rigby
Kerry joined the practice in 1986 so has recently celebrated 25 years a Park Issa. She works on both the small animal and farm side of the practice reception and doing the accounts. In her spare time she enjoys travelling the UK and Europe on her Honda Goldwing 1800cc now that her children have grown up. Kerry also enjoys organising events to raise money for the Severn Hospice and Air Ambulance.

Receptionist Carol Jones
Areas of Interest: Carol worked as a vet nurse for 6 years after leaving school. She joined Park Issa in September 2001. She lives on a farm and has 2 border collies Lyn and Sam, follows Widnes RLFC every week home and away, and enjoys swimming, walking and gardening.

Head Nurse Michelle Davies V.N
Areas of Interest: Michelle joined Park Issa in January 2005 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in Summer 2007, stepping up to Head Nurse at the end of 2008. She is interested in big cats and would like to travel to Africa to work with them. Michelle's hobbies are musical and she enjoys playing the harp and piano.

Kennel Assistant Jane Johnstone
Areas of Interest: Jane joined the practice in 2006 and has become a valued member of the team. She is now well into the "National Certificate for Veterinary Care Assistants" course. She is also a keen follower of football supporting our other "local" team Wrexham. As happens to many people in veterinary practice she has adopted 2 dogs via the practice, Alfie and Poppy, to complement her 2 cats Daisy and Buttons.
